The Choose To Change programme is designed to address the fact that youth (13-24 years) related domestic abuse accounts for 15% of domestic serious violence and 30-80% of domestic violence offences.
Group activities are designed to enable young perpetrators to recognise that their behaviours are unacceptable.
Young people are enabled to choose different coping strategies and gain an insight into how problems are created through their chosen behaviours and the impact these have on their relationships with others.
Facilitators use a range of methods of delivery taken from accredited training materials.
